Measurement Guide

Here at Lyndsey Dawn, we understand that nobody really fits perfectly into specific sizes and although our guide is a rough sizing guide, we do advise that you use our measurement guides to find the most suitable size to fit. We also suggest that if you find you are in between sizes that you choose the size up as dresses can always be taken by in by alteration if needed.

Follow our quick step by step guide to find which size would suite you most. You will require a dressmakers flexible measuring tape (you can find these in most supermarkets) and it will be more accurate if you ask someone else to take your measurements for you.

Step 1: Bust

Measure around the widest part of your bust. Be careful not to pull the tape too taught.

Step 2: Waist

Measure around the smallest part of your waist.

Step 3: Hips

Measure the widest point of your hips.

Step 4: Full Length (You only need to measure the length of the dress if you are more than 5'8 and require a longer length.)

Measure from collar bone to floor (with shoes!)

Step 5:

Compare to our measurement guides below. Remember sizes don't have to be exact but if you find that you are in between sizes, we recommend sizing up.
